“Everything
that goes around, comes around.” What
does this mean? What is karma? Do you believe in it? Give an example that demonstrates/disproves "instant" karma.
Karma is the idea that your actions will affect what happens to you later in life. I think that karma is true in some ways. I say this because if you are good to people than later they will probably be good to you. This can work the other way as well, if you are bad to someone than they will not help you later.
This means that that if you do something bad or mean, something bad will happen to you. Karma is the belief that if you live a happy positive life good thing will happen. But if you look at life as always something bad happening then that is you will see, bad things. I believe there is some karma. When someone does something nice for them usually the other person will something nice for that person.
I think karma is when you do something mean to someone and something like that happens later on to you. I believe in karma because you should always treat people nicely and respect them. Like if you hold the door out for someone then they will be nice to you in return. Kellie Clinton
What goes around comes around it typically a phrase for saying that if you act in a disapproving manner towards someone or something, fate is going to seriously mess you up. Karma is the word that sums all of the above into one word. I do believe in karma because I have felt it many times. If I am extremely rude to someone one day, I end up getting treated like that the next day by someone else. If I do something good (study for example), then good things will happen to me (I end up with a good grade). I'm not saying that it's all about fate, I'm just saying that is plays an important role in life for me. -Anuhya
Karma is the belief that what you say and do will effect you in the future. This is present in many religions around the world. What comes around, goes around is a short phrase that describes karma. I personally do not believe in karma. I don't think that what happens to you has anything to do with what you have done in your past.
Karma is the idea that if you do good things and be nice to people, you wil get good things in return. The same things goes with doing bad things. I sometimes believe in it because sometimes i feel like it happens to me. "What goes around, comes around" is a phrase that is said when something bites you in the butt for your wrong doings. A perfect example of karma is if you say something mean or hurtful to someone then the next day something can be said to you that is hurtful.
Everything that goes around comes around means, if you do good for others you will get good back, same with if you do bad to others then bad comes back to you. I somewhat believe in it. I feel if you are nice and respectful to others then they will be respectful to you. Treat others how you want to be treated. I do not believe the outrageous things, for example, if I help an old lady I don't expect to win the lottery. I don't think it works that way. I also don't believe if you yell at someone or treat someone wrong you will have bad luck forever. Other cases like calling someone names or fighting someone, then because of what you've done, you then get a detention. I don't really consider that karma. That is common sense to the fact that life is full of consequences and rewards. It is knowing what's right from wrong I wouldn't consider that as karma.
This means that if you do good, good things will happen to you, and if you do bad, bad things will happen to you. This is karma. I don't believe in karma. An example disproving karma is when you hold the door for someone and they don't hold the next one for you.
Instant karma is the idea of "what goes around comes around." This means that if you do good things then you will be eventually be rewarded for your good deeds. While this seems like a niece system I more believe in "no good deed goes unpunished." With all the tragedies at play in todays world I do not think those were deserved by anyone. For example, how could anyone look at events such as school shootings and say that it is just karma at work. While this may be an extreme example more minor events are seen all the time whether it be the guilty walking away free from trials or the hardest workers never being able to realize there dreams.
Karma is the belief that if you do something good or nice to someone, you will get that in return and vice versa. Yes, I believe in karma because it has happened to me before a couple of times. I think it is good to have a positive outlook on life later in life, things can only get better. I believe if you do something nice for someone, you will have something good happen to you. Am example of instant karma is if you where too help someone on something they don't get, they would help you next time on something you don't get. The quote means if you do something nice, you will get something in response.
It means that what ever you do will reflect on what the outcome could be. It's like Newton's Third Law of Motion. Every action has an equal or opposite reaction. Maybe karma is just the motion of feelings or emotions throughout a spiritual realm. I honestly don't believe in karma because instant karma can instantly be disproved easily. There are people who good things all the time, yet they still get treated like crap. For example, there was Martin Luther King Jr. He stopped segregation, but in return his life was taken away. There's also multiple people who are supposed to be in jail because of murder and other illegal activities. Instead, they were proven innocent somehow and roaming the streets of your neighborhood.
Karma is a B.... as some people say. Nice people don’t need nor believe in karma they are just nice all the time and will receive it in the same way hopefully. But bad people on the other hand have to worry about it all the time. But personally I think it is a mechanism that gets people to be nice to each other. We all know it “if you are nice you will be treated nicely”, and vice versa. For example when you hold the door open for someone they may or may not say thank you, but that is their choice and you should not worry about other people and what they think about you.
What goes around comes around. You hear that almost daily. It's the idea that whatever action you do, good or bad, will reflect back to you in that same light. I personally don't believe in karma. I believe everything happens in life for a reason and it may not always turn out the way you would like it to. For example, let's say you spend all your time giving back to charities and volunteering at places in need, you may not always get something as positive as that in return. I feel as karma is just a figure of speech or just a threat to society to do good and refrain from evil.
I want to believe in karma and that what goes around comes around but it's also said that the kindest hearts have felt the most pain. My friend for example, is a very nice girl who would hold the door for anyone even after 6 hours of intense skating, but being in America for so long put distance between her and her Japanese classmates back home. Sometimes isolated from her class.
Yes, money does influence our lives to a certain extent. We are raised with iPads and iPhones and many other devices that normal middle class kids in the U.S. Don't have. This influences in a great way because we have many more opportunities to learn. Being privileged means to have access to a wide range of resources. Although money does influence us, it doesn't change our expectations of our peers. We expect everyone to treat us with respect and they will be treated equally. By. Erica, So young, Anuhya
Yes I do lie sometimes. I try to not lie but it is so hard not to. I usually lie about things that I don't want people to know about me. I could pretty much lie to anyone depending on the situations. However, I'm not a good lier either. I think lying is human nature because people don't want to show their weaknesses to others. Lying is definitely not necessary because that can bring your life down. You can loose respect from your family and friends too. Sometimes, people lie for goods too. Not to lie is a hard thing but we should not lie to each others.
It means the thing you do wether it is bad or not, the thing will come back to you. I think karma is a real thing. I was in the kitchen once, and I dropped a yogurt on the floor. Then I was lazy to clean it up! So I didn't. Later like 5minutes.. I actually stepped on the yogurt and I had to clean it up again. I think this is karma.
Karma is the idea that your actions will either negatively or positively impact your future based on whether you were good or bad. The rewards and punishments from karma may be in the way we feel, as opposed to events around us. When I do something good, I feel good and am happy; but when I do something bad, I feel guilty and have a bad day. Karma can be disproved by people like Martin Luther King Jr., Ghandi, and Malcolm X . They all tried to help people, but they were all assasinated.
Life is about making choices. And ever choice has a consequence, some good some bad. So this thing of karma is more about what consequences you have coming your way. Sometimes this karma is unseen, I say to those that don't believe in it. Karma as we are talking about doesn't only help or hurt you but everyone else and then in turn you. So yes karma is a thing.
It means if you do something bad, it's going to come back around and happen to you. I believe that bad things tend to happen to people who think badly and do bad things. So essentially I believe in karma. Like if I punched Tony in the face, some one would come out and drop me in the face. I believe fights are a good example of instant karma.
What goes around must come back around means what ever you do to someone will end up happening to you over time. Karma is believing that what you do to someone will happen to you. I believe in karma, I think if you treat someone like crap in return you will be treated like crap, or if you steal from someone in the future maybe someone will steal from you. A good example of this is if I punch Bossong in the face, I'm probably going to get punched back. Instant karma can happen immediately and can just be a reaction. In a fight if you're getting pushed, you're most likely going to push back.
Karma is the belief that your every action will have a consequence or reward. According to Hinduism and Buddhism, your actions in this life will impact your next. Instant karma, the karma we are most familiar with, states that your actions will affect you almost immediately. If you laugh at someone who falls in the hallway and then, right after, you trip and drop all your books, one who believes in negative instant karma would say your laughing is to blame. I do not believe in karma, but I do believe that if you have a positive attitude and try hard, good things will result from your efforts alone but if you have a negative outlook, the opposite will happen
This quote means that the actions and emotions one outwardly demonstrates have a high chance of being reflected back at him/her. Karma is the idea that one is constantly being affected positively and negatively by good and bad choices, respectively, that he/she is currently making or has made in the past. Though I may not believe in the spiritual existence of Karma, I definitely believe in the logic behind it. For example, if a businessman was sitting at a meeting table and foolishly had his open drink directly to the right of him instead of at a visible angle, spilling the drink over a potential clients laptop during a particularly vivacious hand gesture and causing the client to deny any further attempt at a business transaction would be an example of "instant karma".
When someone says, "everything that goes around, comes around," it means that if you do good you will be rewarded with something good. But if you do bad, you will receive something bad. Karma basically means that your actions decide your future, either in this life or the next. I don't really believe in karma because it seems too unrealistic to be true. For example, why can good, innocent people have terrible things happen to them such as cancer or other diseases while criminals and murders can get away with the terrible crimes they committed? It doesn't make much sense. It could be possible that their actions carry over into their next life but I don't believe in that.
This quote means that when you do something bad or good, something better or worse will happen . This is the basic explanation of karma. I guess I would say I believe in karma, though it's not something I would say I hardcore believe. Things happen, sometimes they're good and sometimes they're bad. I feel like the idea of karma makes people think they can go around doing good things and wait for something good to happen because of it, when really these things should be done because you want to and you feel good doing it, not because you expect something good to happen. If karma were true, good hearted people would be billionaires and bad people would be poor and sad but that's not the case.
This quote means that if you do something good, good things will happen, if you do something bad, something bad will happen. This is the concept of Karma.
